  1. In true Cape Town hipster fashion, Ash wants to be different with their booking system and have managed to already alienate 4 different friends of mine at different times without anybody knowing about the other’s experience! I attempted to make a booking myself, was told “no problem” where instead they should’ve said “I’ll phone you if we decide to give you a booking”. My booking was for 10 pax for 7pm. I was phoned later and told that my booking is now an hour later. Sorry – that is not how we do business where I come from. Don’t bugger me around on times and availability. So I took my 9 friends and promptly spent an enormous amount of money elsewhere. I fear they are going to very quickly realise how fickle the Cape Town restaurant crowd is when it comes to be messed around. People have long memories.
