#grateful for making the best of today, with 5 hours of my working day being affected by Loadshedding, using some of it to catch up on sleep, a walk in Bakoven, and shopping at Ultra (looking very different) and Spar (looks like a mini-Ultra when you walk in); for getting my Dinkel rolls and free range eggs; for doing a large part of my writing after the first Loadshedding this morning, at 2h30 đŸ˜±; for a good meeting for Utopia and Anatoli, with a spoil of biscuits for tea, I joking with my client that they were to celebrate my first anniversary of working on the Utopia Continue reading →

#grateful for a special start to the week; for catching up on work; for a walk to Bakoven; for a pop in at Honest CafĂ©, with a new restaurant upstairs; for receiving a Mayor’s Civic Award for service to the community of Camps Bay, not just for picking up litter but also for keeping Ward Councillor Nicola Jowell informed of maintenance and security issues in Camps Bay, I being one of three recipients in Camps Bay, with Theresa Massaglia and Alan Marsh, and only three recipients in Ward 54, which includes Sea Point and Camps Bay, a huge honour; for the great company of recipients we were in; Continue reading →

Utopia Cape Town launches new Tasting Menu, with Vegetarian and Vegan options too!

 

Utopia Cape Town has spoilt Capetonians with its incredible value for money Tasting Menus in the past two years, having become the talk of the town in offering its value Tasting Menus in its 15th floor location, with magnificent views over the city and its icons, and onto Cape Town Stadium, Lion’s Head, the Harbour, and Table Mountain specifically.

Utopia Cape Town launched not only a new Meat/Fish Tasting Menu last week, but added a Vegetarian as well as a Vegan option too. For the first time in two years it has increased its Tasting Menu prices to R245, still offering excellent value.
