Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a very relaxed day; for it being sunny, but a very windy day, so I walked with Carmen from my cleaning team up to First Beach Clifton, picking up litter from Glen Beach onwards, being more wind-protected in Clifton; for a quick pop in at Pick n Pay to get my Daily Maverick 368, with hardly any customers 👏; for a spoil croissant at Firefly CafĂ©, loving that Manager Jason came to sit down at my table to chat, not having seen each other in a month 💙; for Vit D therapy on my terrace this afternoon; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Thank you 2020 for everything that you have taught me, my Top 20 of 2020!

I was very excited about the year 2020, having the 20th as a birthdate, and it being my lucky number. Despite the tragedy of the Corona Virus pandemic and the inconvenience of the Lockdown regulations at times, 2020 turned out to be one of my best ever, learning from it and growing through it.

According to news reports the City of Cape Town is to seek a reversal of the film shoot ban in the High Court, via an urgent interdict! Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a sunny warmer day, with a mild South Easter this afternoon; for a busy writing day; for a tea meeting at Firefly CafĂ© with Ryan Rudy, who heads up the Camps Bay Community Security Initiative; for a meeting with Chris Willemse, Chairman of the Camps Bay and Clifton Ratepayers Association, and Alma Horn, at their home, to be briefed on my Marketing role as a new member of the Management Committee; for harvesting three huge beetroot from the veg garden today; for posting my second SwitchBitch book to Marianne Busche in Johannesburg, so easy via Aramex courier at Pick n Pay; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
