Thank you 2020 for everything that you have taught me, my Top 20 of 2020!

On Facebook I have posted daily Corona Gratitudes, for the small and big things that have come my way in the past 9 months. There are far too many to mention, so I have turned this post into a Top 20 of 2020, an unforgettable year for all of us. Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a mixed weather day, sunny this morning and drizzling now, with rain forecast throughout the night; for a non-writing morning, making up for it this afternoon when the International Travel regulations were announced; for a refreshing walk in Camps Bay, popping in at The 41 and at Tindlovu, and doing a shop at Woolies; for having my car cleaned and shined by Simbai, a mobile car washer, who came to my home 🙏; for a combined Bakoven and Camps Bay walk, loving the clouds this afternoon; for two Discovery Gameboard plays, buying a Pick n Pay shopping voucher, my first; for dancing to Kfm 💃; for chatting to Jenny Stephens and Rufus Scholtz; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#Grateful for a beautiful sunny day even if it was quite windy, our first early Spring South Easter; for a long writing morning; for a walk to Camps Bay; for the Pick n Pay store manager lending me his Pick n Pay card so that I could make use of the special offer on their strawberries 🍓, only offered to customers with their Smart Card and not with my Discovery Pick n Pay card 🙏; for some admin issues related to the Hermanus house sale, and the apartment block; for a walk through Bakoven, where the wind felt more chilly; for some Sectional Title advice from Lucille; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
