Wednesday 30 September 2020, Day 10 of Level 1, Day 188 of Lockdown. 😷

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a mixed weather day, sunny this morning and drizzling now, with rain forecast throughout the night; for a non-writing morning, making up for it this afternoon when the International Travel regulations were announced; for a refreshing walk in Camps Bay, popping in at The 41 and at Tindlovu, and doing a shop at Woolies; for having my car cleaned and shined by Simbai, a mobile car washer, who came to my home 🙏; for a combined Bakoven and Camps Bay walk, loving the clouds this afternoon; for two Discovery Gameboard plays, buying a Pick n Pay shopping voucher, my first; for dancing to Kfm 💃; for chatting to Jenny Stephens and Rufus Scholtz; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙

Despite being 17C, the air has been chilly all day. Rain wasn’t forecast on my weather app, but it is said to rain through the night.

The Red and Green listed countries for Tourists travelling to SA were announced in the last minute by Minister Naledi Pandor this afternoon, a few hours before International Travel is allowed again. 😱 The Country Red List is such a mess, it has been amended three times since being published this afternoon! Business Insider and Business Tech have two completely different lists of Red countries. 😱🥵 The detailed updated correct list of 60 Red List countries is on my Blog:

International Travel regulations: its green for Germany and red for UK and the USA for Tourists to SA, from 1 October 2020!

I had a good chat with Chris Papayannes of Tindlovu over a cup of tea, so lovely that he is open and receptive to my feedback.

The Camps Bay Residents Whats App Group members were delighted that one of its members saw one of the shady cars without license plates stopped and the vehicle searched today.

Off to bed shortly to warm up.

PS: Gorgeous rain ☔️ music from outside 🎶

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, and lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
