#Grateful for a beautiful day, cooler at 22C, will a light breeze, and clouds rolling in now; for being very relaxed this morning, writing most of a blogpost for next week, I often being under time pressure in my writing mornings; for a gorgeous snuggle on my bed with Minsky this afternoon; for a walk near the Tidal Pool with my cleaning team late this afternoon; for my own walk to 4th Beach Clifton and back, gaining 209 Miles; and for being happy and healthy 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Thank you 2020 for everything that you have taught me, my Top 20 of 2020!

 

I was very excited about the year 2020, having the 20th as a birthdate, and it being my lucky number. Despite the tragedy of the Corona Virus pandemic and the inconvenience of the Lockdown regulations at times, 2020 turned out to be one of my best ever, learning from it and growing through it.

#Grateful for not feeling the earthquake early this morning; for a beautiful relaxed day, sunny and warm at 21C, but with the South Easter picking up now; for a busy writing morning; for a Camps Bay walk, adding a shop at Camps Bay Hardware, always with friendly service, and at Woolies; for a sun snooze on the terrace; for working with Brian Van Hansen on the edit of a client video, followed by a salad lunch; for the lovely photographs Brian spontaneously took of my home 🙏; for a walk to Bakoven; for some drops of rain threatening with a massive cloud hanging over the Twelve Apostles; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a warm 26C day, windstill, with another such day forecast for tomorrow; for a writing morning, followed by a deep clean of my apartment, getting up to 5000 steps before I left for a proper walk in Camps Bay, including a shop at Woolies, needing croissants for my guests this afternoon; for getting help from gorgeous Llewellyn to become the admin of the client’s Facebook page 🍎; for the surprise of receiving two Discovery Gameboard plays, despite not having received any points since I hit Diamond status about 10 days ago; for an easy transition from Discovery Coastal Core to Classic Smart, costing only R19 more per month and heaps more medical and dental benefits, Maki Chase holding my hand virtually 🙏; for a R164 Discovery Insure cash back for driving less; for the honour of being interviewed by THE 6 foot 6 inches Derek Watts today, in my home, more details to come when it is aired; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
