#Grateful for the rain we had overnight and this morning, the drizzle this afternoon, and more to fall tonight; not as cold at 13C max as I expected, especially when I went out to walk; for the City Council, requested by Councillor Nicola Jowell, repairing the stand of one of the Camps Bay Battery cannons dating back to 1782, located below the Camps Bay High School, all getting a make-over π; for seeing Law Enforcement on Victoria Road, after months of no visibility, reporting a traffic problem at Caprice; for a very good shopping experience at Pick n Pay; for a late lie-in this morning with KitKat, huddling in bed together; for a very laid-back day today; and for being happy and healthy. ππ Continue reading →

It is unbelievable that the Government is keeping Restaurants, Bars, Shebeens, and Taverns in the dark as to the reopening date, as well as the regulations which will determine under which conditions Restaurants may welcome back diners for Sit-Down Service, as announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa over a week ago. If restaurants are to reopen on 1 July, as is assumed, it gives them less than a week to set up after a three-month closure due to Lockdown Levels 5 and 4.
